Does it burn?
No. The Pen'Up tip heats to 35°C: warm but not burning, designed for safe use by children. Finger guards are also included in the sets.
What if the pen breaks down?
The lifetime warranty on the pen is included with the Complete Pack: a pen that stops working is exchanged, without complicated paperwork. An early breakdown is rare, but when it happens, an exchange is our reflex. You also have 14 days to withdraw.
€100, isn't that expensive for a 3D pen?
It's a real investment and the vast majority of parents who took the plunge don't regret it: hours of creation, screen-free, independently and without getting burned (tip at 35°C which doesn't burn). The complete pack is delivered ready to use, with no hidden costs to get started. It's an educational and fun toy, designed to last!
How long does the battery last?
The pen offers up to 1 hour of battery life. For long sessions, it can be used plugged in via its cable: creation never stops, you keep going while it charges.
What age is it for?
From age 6, fully independently. With a parent nearby, there is no age limit.

3 steps to create in 3D
Place a Pad'Up stencil on the sheet to prevent the thread from sticking to the paper. Use your Pen'Up to draw the outlines of your model, here, the Eiffel Tower.
After finishing the drawing, let the thread harden for 30 seconds. This ensures your creation is solid enough to be handled.
Remove your creation from the Pad'Up stencil. Assemble the last piece of the Eiffel Tower by adding thread dots, just like with a glue gun.
Place a Pad'Up stencil on the sheet to prevent the thread from sticking to the paper. Use your Pen'Up to draw the outlines of your model, here, the Eiffel Tower.

Is it possible to buy additional thread refills?

Is the Pen'Up magic pen hot?
The Pen'Up is warm but not burning (35°C), it was designed for safe use by children. For added safety, every set includes finger guards.
How long does a thread refill last?
A thread refill (Fil'Up spool) lasts an average of 1 hour 30 minutes! 🤩
Can I use thread refills from other brands?
Some customers have reported blockages in the Pen'Up after using filaments from other brands. Indeed, filaments such as PLA, ABS or PC are not compatible with the Pen'Up as their melting temperature is around 200°C.
The Pen'Up having a maximum internal temperature of 60°C, it will not be able to melt them.
From what age is it recommended?
From age 6 for independent use by the child. With parental supervision, there is no age limit! 😊
What sets the Pen'Up apart from other 3D pens?
The Pen'Up was designed to solve the common problems of 3D pens: risk of burns, unsuitability for small hands, toxic and polluting thread refills.
How does the Pen'Up maintain attention?
