Does it burn?
No. The Pen'Up heats to 35°C: warm but not burning, designed for safe use by children. Finger guards are included in the sets.
If I have a problem, will I get a response from customer support?
Yes, we are a French team! Every request sent to contact@penup3d.com receives an acknowledgement of receipt, and our team handles your request as a priority, including exchanges. An issue with your pen is never a lost cause: we replace it.
€100, isn't that expensive for a 3D pen?
It's a real investment and the vast majority of parents who took the plunge don't regret it: hours of creation, without screens, independently and without getting burned (tip at 35°C which does not burn). The complete pack is delivered ready to use, with no hidden start-up costs.
How long does the battery last?
The pen offers 30 to 45 minutes of cordless use, designed for a creative session. For longer sessions, it can be used plugged into its cable: creation never stops, you keep going while it charges.
What age is it for?
From age 6 independently. With a parent alongside, there is no age limit.

The 3D Pen designed for children
Pen'Up was designed to solve the common problems of existing 3D pens. They used to burn — now it's made for children.
The 3 steps to create in 3D
1. Draw
Place a Pad'Up stencil on the sheet to prevent the filament from sticking to the paper. Use your Pen'Up to draw the outlines of your model, here, the Eiffel Tower.
2. Wait
Once you have finished drawing, let the filament harden for 30 seconds. This ensures your creation is solid enough to be handled.
3. Peel off / Assemble
Remove your creation from the Pad'Up stencil. Assemble the final piece of the Eiffel Tower by adding dots of filament, just like with a glue gun.
