Is it possible to buy additional thread refills?
Of course! We offer a set of 12 filament refills in a variety of colours. You can also pick your own colours from our available selection. To find out more, visit our "shop" tab
Is the Pen'Up magic pen hot?
The Pen'Up is warm but not burning (35°C), it was designed for safe use by children. For added safety, each set includes finger protectors.
How long does a thread refill last?
A thread refill (Fil'Up spool) lasts an average of 1 hour 30 minutes! 🤩
Can thread refills from other brands be used?
Some customers have reported blockages in the Pen'Up after using filaments from other brands. Indeed, filaments such as PLA, ABS or PC are not compatible with the Pen'Up as their melting temperature is around 200°C.
Since the Pen'Up has a maximum internal temperature of 60°C, it will not be able to melt them.
From what age is it recommended?
From age 6 for independent use by the child. With parental guidance, there is no age limit! 😊
What sets the Pen'Up apart from other 3D pens?
The Pen'Up was designed to solve the common problems of 3D pens: risk of burns, unsuitability for small hands, toxic and polluting thread refills.
How does the Pen'Up maintain attention?
When the child starts building with their Pen'Up, they are immersed in a bubble of concentration and it will even be hard to take the magic pen away from them! 😆 (you'll see for yourself).
